Cobia have started their spring migration and began showing up early this year.the cobia “run”  should end in early may. Spanish Mackerel are biting and should be around for a few weeks.On the bottom fishing trips (6 hour and longer) Grouper, snapper,and some trigger fish are being caught.Amberjack are pretty constient on the longer trips, in addition to the other bottom fish. Red Snapper are”thick”-they are everywhere-BUT are catch-and -release only until June 1. King Mackerel numbers will also improve in the coming days as the water temp. rises.
